All children love to receive a letter. We have seen the delight the children’s faces when they receive a letter from Australia! Our online leter procedure makes writing so much easier as well as ensuring full compliance with our Child Protection Policy.
Ideas for writing to your sponsor child:
- Keep your letters simple and not too long, don’t go into too much detail.
- Talk about your family and ask about theirs.
- You could share about your interests or hobbies.
- If you have pets, let your child know. They may have an animal too.
- Ask clear questions. This helps you get to know your child and helps them know what to write to you.
- Occasional photographs add interest, and give something else to talk about in the letters.
- You can use our Q&A sheet to get to know your child better, click here to download.
