Cambodian women’s co-operative
In 2014 Canhelp received a donation for the money to be used to establish a women’s co-operative in a poor, rural part of Cambodia.
The idea is that women from the village can apply to borrow money to establish a small business and then repay the principal with interest at a rate that is lower than a bank or even from a micro loan.
