The children in Cambodia are not only poor, but some have a two hour walk to school. Waking up with the prospect of a two hour walk means that more often than not, kids are absent from school and their education is affected. Bicycles for these children improve school attendance and their future.

In Siem Reap, near Angkor Watt in Cambodia, the land is flat and ideal for riding bikes. But so many families struggle to buy enough food and $55 for a bike is out of their reach.
How do we select the recipients?
Our local representative in Cambodia asks government school principals for a list of children from poor families who live a long walk from school. Our representative then visits the family home and checks out their circumstances before a bike donation is made.
