Canhelp’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for communities in Cambodia and Nepal, with particular focus on the education of girls and the empowerment of women.
With education so many positives flow:
- it improves socio-economic circumstances and self sufficiency by socially empowering and assisting people to become economically independent;
- it significantly enhances the feeling of self-worth, and importantly;
- through the rise in status and education of girls the potential for improvement in family planning result in lesser population pressures at the family, community and national levels.
